Mesa, Arizona is the 2nd largest city in the
Phoenix metropolitan statistical area, the 3rd largest city in
Arizona, and the 43rd largest city in the U.S.
Nearly 30% of Mesa's population makes up the prime future
workforce, ages 18-35. Mesa was founded in January of 1878 and
incorporated in July of 1883. Mesa covers just over 128 square
miles has an elevation of 1,241 feet and is growing at a rate of
5% a year.
