La Crescenta,
California Town Council has served the community since March 16, 1989. Its
slogan "The Community That Cares" is fundamental in its efforts of helping
to maintain and improve the unincorporated area (Briggs to Pennsylvania) of
the Crescenta Valley.
The Town Council extends non-voting membership to representatives from the
Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Montrose/Verdugo City Chamber of
Commerce and Crescenta Valley High School.
There are 9 regular council members, and 3 alternate council members elected
from census tract 3001 (north of Orange Avenue), census tract 3002 (between
Orange Avenue and Foothill Boulevard), and census tract 3005 (south of
Foothill Boulevard).
