town of 33,000 whose motto is "Pride in the past, faith in
our future". Turmbull is rich in history and has become a
planned development where 94% of the housing is single
family homes ranging in price from $175,000 to well over
$750,000. Stem Village offers 250 attractive condominium
units in a central location and Turmbull offers a senior

strong commitment to education with 5 elementary, 2 middle

St. Joseph's High School and Christian heritage. Vocational
agriculture and Aquaculture are two regional programs that
are offered. Turmbull Library houses over 90,000 volumes
with a branch library in the Nichols section of town. The

Of the 23.5 square miles that Turmbull covers over
1,600 acres have been preserved for parkland. The town owns
the Tashua Knolls 18-hole golf course. There are 22 tennis
courts, 2 outdoor pools, and indoor pool along with the Twin
Brooks swimming area, sledding hills and sports fields. Just
north of Bridgeport in southwestern Connecticut, Turmbull's
convenient location has attracted many corporate
headquarters as well as commuters to Hartford and New York. |
