sporting events available in Ft. Myers. The Minnesota Twins and the
Boston Red Sox visit Fort Myers for their spring training camps.
Southwest Florida boasts the most holes of golf per capita in the
United States. Equestrian events are also available.

University, the state's tenth university, opened its 760-acre campus
