The Town of Lady Lake, Florida has a motto; "The Home of Lakes and Sunshine" and with good reason. The area has several professional golf courses along beautiful lakes and an excellent Central Florida climate.

Founded in 1925, Lady Lake has quickly become one of the fastest growing communities in Lake County catering to the active retirement population. Within the Town of Lady Lake, one can find acclaimed retirement communities such as The Villages® and Water Oak Estates. These active retirement communities specialize in golf courses, sports, recreation, and evening entertainment. 

Accordingly, Lady Lake may be seen as having more social than industrial activity, with many residents savoring the fruits of their retirement. In anticipation of impending road projects and the widening of both Highway 27/441 as well as CR 466, the Town of Lady Lake is aggressively pursuing considerable infrastructure enhancements along its major corridors. As a result, cultivation of economic development in a substantial manner will be accommodated for anticipated and continued growth.

The new Lady Lake Library was  recently opened and plans for three new sports complexes are currently on the drawing board. A variety of recreational facilities are available for active citizens of all ages. In addition, the Town's "Heritage Park" was recently dedicated. Heritage Park is a Victorian passive recreational park located in the center of the downtown area. This along with its many other amenities makes the Town of Lady Lake a premiere destination in the Tri-County area.
