County. Brandenburg is situated on the south bank of the Ohio River
in north central Kentucky. Brandenburg is located 46 miles
southwest of Louisville, Kentucky; 147 miles southwest of
Cincinnati, Ohio; and 162 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee.

Ohio River forms the entire northern boundary of the county.
